How to Get a Mortgage License in California:
There are two mortgage licensing authorities in California: The Department of Real Estate (DRE) and the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). Persons seeking a mortgage loan originator license with the DRE must first have a real estate license.
All mortgage loan originators must take a 20 hour NMLS-required pre-license course. This course will prepare you to take the mortgage licensing exam.
OnlineEd's mortgage pre-license course is taken entirely online and can be completed in as little as 4 days. It's the education you need, the flexibility you want, and a special live webinar exam prep session that no other competitor offers.
