ABOUT THE FOUNDATION: OUR STORY
The C.A.R. Education Foundation was established in 2005 and supports California REALTORS® and the real estate community as a whole by ensuring a better educated REALTOR® professional. One of the motivations for creating this foundation was to support future REALTOR® generations continue their education. Funds from this foundation have provided many REALTOR® members with grants to support the cost of NAR Designations, Mediation Courses, WomanUP!® Conference and Local Association grants to provide more education.

The Foundation is a 509(a)(3) public charity and may receive tax-deductible contributions, Tax I.D. 20-2696963. The C.A.R. Education Foundation works in conjunction with the existing C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation which was established in 1948. Trustees/Directors from the Foundations are available for presentations at REALTOR® associations or Colleges/Universities with a Real Estate Program. The Foundations are led by an appointed group of 13 Trustees/Directors who are members of the California Association of REALTORS®.
